Travelling in Spain

While In Spain you will find that travelling around is best done by bus as the bus network gives you better coverage and much more value for your money than the rail system.

Plane

The only time you might seriously consider flying within Spain is to travel to the outer islands. The best deals on charter flights are often from Barcelona, Valencia and Alicante.

Ferry

Ferry services connect Spain directly with the UK and Morocco, but flying is a better choice if time is of the essence.

Bus

There are plenty of bus routes serviced by dozens of independent companies, and the bus network is more extensive than the train system and quite a bit cheaper.
