Holiday parks operator Haven Holidays has formed a partnership with Virgin Media after securing a sponsorship and advertising deal with the Media giant.
The new deal, negotiated by media agency BLM Quantum, will see Haven branding spread across the UK Breaks section of Virgin Medias website . The company will promote its park locations and activities by running adverts on the Virgin portal.
Haven adverts will also appear on other sections of Virgin Medias website including lifestyle, weather, family and parenting categories.
Haven will also run deals with Orange and AOL as part of its strategy to expand the brand through online activity, while a branded takeover of Teletext UKs holidays section will launch later this month.
Matt Lovell, senior planner at BLM Quantum, commented: "Haven Holidays will get massive standout from this innovative and engaging sponsorship that will boost bookings this summer.
"Working with Virgin Media in this way demonstrates haven Holidays understanding of the power of online advertising ."
Alison Dunn, head of e-commerce at Haven, added: "More content-focused advertising enables us to showcase our offering in full and attracts a significant number of new customers."
The new advertising and sponsorship deal will go live this week and is expected to run throughout the school summer holidays .
