Around 5.6 million tourists are expected to visit Bulgaria this year - a 10 per cent boost to the countrys tourism sector, with a large amount of travellers coming from the UK .

British ski specialists have recommended Bulgaria due to its affordable winter sports holidays available, with Pamporovo, Bansko, and Borovets the most popular resorts.
