Holidaymakers across Europe are increasingly being attracted by holidays to Krakow, particularly as a spring break destination, an industry expert has revealed.
European break specialists Fregata Travel described the Krakow as a "lovely city that is prefect for springtime" and added that it is now proving to be one of the most-popular eastern European holiday destinations .
The firms manager Tim Campbell said: "One destination that really has been up and coming for the past couple of years is Krakow ."
"Its a lovely city, and although there is not a vast amount of hotel stock there are some lovely places to go to."
But he added that despite the weather in Krakow being its nicest in spring, tourists visiting the city at this time of the year may end up paying "a lot more money".
Campbell advised that holidaymakers looking to get the most out of their money should visit the Polish city during the winter season instead.
