Brits seeking cheap deals on cruise breaks this winter can still benefit from a number of good deals on the market, an industry expert has revealed.
According to travel writer Sara Macefield, bargain winter cruise holiday deals are still being offered by a number of cruise operators due to an increase in UK capacity.
Writing In the Daily Telegraph, Macefield said good prices for winter cruises in the Mediterranean, Florida and The Caribbean are still available to British holidaymakers as cruise companies currently have a number of extra cabins waiting to be booked.
She explained: "The market is more competitive than ever as the economic downturn has coincided with a year when ten ships have been launched, bringing extra capacity to the UK cruise scene."
"This means that there are a number of special offers going, such as free places and on-board enticements," she added.
