Twin-centre breaks are set to remain a favourite honeymoon choice among newlyweds in 2008, an industry expert has revealed.
Francesca Moore, spokesman for hitched.co.uk, revealed that newlyweds are increasingly being attracted to a combination of adventure and relaxation getaways, in order to get the best of both worlds.
"As airlines have stop-over points, you can get to two places in just one flight," said Moore.
The honeymoon expert highlighted a few of the twin-break destinations that are proving a popular choice with newlyweds.
These included Sri Lanka, due to its natural beauty and "good stop-over for The Maldives," and Las Vegas combined with "paradise locations, such as the Bahamas, Barbados and the Virgin Islands ".
Ski breaks are also a popular choice for couples who have just tied the knot. The five most romantic ski resorts were recently named by the Ski Club as: St Moritz (Switzerland), Megéve (France), Kitzbuhel (Austria), Arabba (Italy) and Andermatt (Switzerland) .
