The Federation of Tour Operators members have extended the ban on Britons travelling to Kenya on charter flights as the on-going political riots show no signs of coming to an end.
The ban has now been placed on all departure flights up to and including this Friday.
Tour operators said they were left with little choice after the Foreign and Commonwealth Office continued to stand firm against all but essential travel to the East African country.
Bloody political turmoil has left around 1,000 dead and a further 250,000 homeless due to violence caused by President Kibakis re-election in a rigged ballot last month.
Travellers due to fly to Kenya within this affected period are entitled to a full refund or an alternative holiday of equal value of their choice. British holidaymakers already out in Kenya, thought to be around 2,000, are being brought back to the UK as and when their holidays end.
Graham Lancaster, spokesman for the Federation of Tour Operators, said: "We had hoped the Foreign Office might be in a position to change the advice . Those people due to fly home from Kenya in the next few days will be brought back as planned."
He said a decision on whether to resume flights on Saturday would be made by tomorrow and that scheduled services are still being operated by British Airways, Virgin Atlantic and Kenya Airways .
