The top ten attractions to visit free of charge in Europe have been revealed by online travel community TripAdvisor.
The Pantheon in Lazio, Italy took top spot as the number one European attraction to visit for money-conscious travellers, closely followed by Londons National Gallery in second place on the list.
Birminghams Jewellery Quarter Museum and the Notre Dame in Paris came third and fourth respectively, while the St Michael and St Gudula Cathedral in Brussels, Belgium was fifth.
Other popular European sights to visit for those on a low budget included the Duomo in Tuscany, St Marks Basilica in Venice, Retiro in Madrid, Westminster Abbey in London, and the Giants Causeway in Northern Ireland .
Michele Perry, TripAdvisors vice president of global communications, said: "As travellers look for ways to save on their vacation this summer, TripAdvisor has recommended top attractions with a price that appeals to even the most frugal visitors."
