Online tour operator lastminute.com has revealed this summers likely holiday hotspots for British tourists .
The travel company said UK travellers are increasingly seeking summer getaways to Greece due to the islands competitive prices on holiday deals .
According to the Association of Greek Tourist Enterprises, arrivals in the Mediterranean country will reach 19.4 million by the year 2010.
Other "competitive" locations such as Morocco and Spain were also named by lastminute.com as likely holiday locations for summer 08.
Moroccan travel officials have also made positive predictions for its tourism market over the coming years, following last months announcement by Morocco Properties Ltd that tourism in the country peaked in 2007, with 7.45 million tourists visiting the country.
The North African country hopes to attract ten million tourists by 2010, according to tourism officials.
John Bevan, managing director of the travel website, commented: "As for up-and-coming destinations, Cape Verde is an increasingly popular destination and China is also becoming very popular due to the Olympics ."
Bevan added that lastminute.com is already receiving bookings for summer deals, but noted that the general lead in time for bookings is nearer to six weeks before departure.
