Virgin Atlantic has revealed the growing popularity of its new fast check-in service at Heathrow Airport among travellers .
The airline giant revealed that there has been a 10 per cent increase in Upper Class passengers flying from the London hub, while general long-haul sales rose by 4 per cent.
"Passengers are voting with their feet and switching to us in their droves," said Virgin Atlantic chief executive Steve Ridgway.
"Were sure that the speed and efficiency of Virgin Atlantics new terminal is restoring the publics faith in travelling from this vitally important UK hub."
Since opening for business in November 2007, around 90,000 passengers have used the Upper Class facility wing at Heathrow, which allows passengers to transfer from their limos to the Clubhouse in under ten minutes.
In addition, an independent study of the firms customers revealed 100 per cent of Upper Class passengers found the service quick and convenient.
