Dubai is fast becoming one of the world’s best destinations for luxury holidays, an industry expert has claimed.
According to ABTA (Association of British Travel Agents) member Frances Tuke, the city’s emerging economy is becoming increasingly popular among British travellers as a top holiday destination.
Ms Tuke said the Arabian city is now widely regarded as a "four and five-star" holiday hotspot due to the vast amount of investment and resources that has been ploughed into its tourism industry over the last few years.
"Dubai has come quite a way. Quite a while ago, it was really just a desert state but its now one of the fastest growing cities in the world," she commented.
Holidaymakers can experience the region's wide range of popular attractions, including its beaches, world-class resorts, mosques, souks, the busy Creek inlet and extensive shopping outlets and facilities.
Airlines such as Virgin Atlantic, Air France and Austrian Airlines offer a number of economy and business class flights to Dubai from a range of UK airports .
