Winter travellers to Beirut, Lebanon, will be able to stay in the citys first Four Seasons resort from December.
The luxury hotels and resorts operator is to open its first Lebanese property on Beirut's Corniche seaside promenade, providing occupants of the hotels 230 rooms and suites with great views across the city, the Mediterranean and surrounding mountains.
Visitors will also be able to wine and dine in a Mediterranean-style steak and seafood restaurant, relax in a full-service spa or take a swim in the resorts glass-enclosed, rooftop pool, which will transform into a lounge and tapas bar in the evenings.
"As soon as guests are welcomed to the Four Seasons Hotel Beirut, they'll be encouraged to step out and enjoy the sea air, sunset Mediterranean views and the sites and sounds of this cosmopolitan city," commented Stefan Simkovics, general manager of the luxury hotel chain.
"As the warmer weather arrives next May, Four Seasons will unveil a rooftop scene destined to be the talk of Beirut's summer season."
Director of marketing Huda Malhas added: "Beirut is an exciting city that's becoming more popular with leisure as well as business travellers ."
