Orlando Seen As A Fun, Good Value Destination

The sunshine city of Orlando continues to attract travellers from around the world due to the value for money it offers, according to the local tourist board.

Commenting on the factors that make Orlando so popular with tourists, Danielle Courtenay, from the Orlando Tourism Bureau, said the holiday destination was "built on fun and hospitality" and guarantees those visiting the city a warm welcome.

"Orlando has always been seen as a good value destination," she said. "If people come, they will be treated so well and we know that with the recession, people are looking for good value."

In addition to value, the tourism expert added that the large number of family-based attractions and the guarantee of all-year-round sunshine are also important factors that continue to lure tourists and holidaymakers to Orlando .

Some of the leading family attractions in North America are located in Orlando, Florida, including Walt Disney World, Universal Studios Orlando, SeaWorld, Aquatica and Busch Gardens .

Britain is Orlando's leading international market, with British travellers visiting the US city for an average of ten to 14 days each year.
